Prior to joining CBCA, Jordy served as Executive Director of the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Jordy also led the Cherokee Ranch and Castle Foundation and served as associate curator for the Denver Art Museum. Deborah sits on the board of directors for Governor's Residence Preservation Fund, Arts for Colorado and co-chairs the Create Denver Advisory Committee. A former Commissioner with the Denver Mayor's Commission on Cultural Affairs and board member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and the Stapleton Public Art Advisory Committee she has been recognized by the SCFD.

Susan Beyda, Membership & Communications Director

Susan joined CBCA in 2007 with a solid business background, including an MBA from University of Wisconsin – Madison and Sociology/ Human Services B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Her career in technology began at IBM and includes management roles in sales, marketing, and customer service, both in the USA and Europe. Susan engages in a wide range of volunteer activities with many nonprofit organizations and determined that shifting her career to the nonprofit sector was the path to her future personal fulfillment and professional success. Susan brings dedication to the nonprofit sector, fundraising, program, and foundation experience to CBCA, as well as, expertise in marketing communications. She is passionate about the arts and very excited to contribute to the thriving arts and culture scene in Denver.

Deanne Gertner, Administrative & Program Assistant

Deanne joined CBCA in 2007 as an intern before assuming the position of Administrative and Program Assistant in 2008. She graduated from Regis University with a degree in English Literature and minor in Fine Arts. Deanne has a background in creative writing and sculpture. She has volunteered at the Metropolitan State Center for Visual Art as a gallery assistant. Deanne believes that the arts are a vital aspect of Denver's community and is proud to be a part of an organization that highlights the impact of business/art partnerships.
